Sauna Rules
SAUNA NEXT THE SEA TERMS & CONDITIONS​​​

If you have any reservations regarding sauna use, such as medical conditions, underlying health problems, use of prescription drugs or pregnancy, it is essential that you consult your GP before making a booking.​​
​
Sauna etiquette must be adhered to at all times, this includes;

Individuals to bring 2 x towels per person in order to maintain sauna hygiene, (1 x towel to sit on at ALL times in sauna, 1 x towel for drying after cold showering or sea plunge).

Footwear must be removed before entering the changing room and sauna.

Shower before entering sauna to maintain cleanliness.

The sauna is strictly for guests aged 17 and over. No one under 17 is permitted on site.

Dogs are not permitted on the sauna site.

We recommend a break from the sauna every 10 -15 minutes to avoid overheating.

Only pour the provided ‘sauna water’ onto hot rocks and nothing else. Pour slowly, every 10-15 mins.

Entering and exiting the sauna in a safe manner.

Keeping access points clear to allow other users to exit safely and swiftly if needed.

Do not touch any part of the stove.

All persons cold showering, swimming in the sea or ‘cold plunging’ do so at their own risk. It is your own responsibility to ensure that you are a capable swimmer and can handle being exposed to the cold temperatures and currents of the sea.

All persons using the sauna do so at their own risk.

Crossing the rope barrier, jumping or diving into the quay from the sauna site is prohibited.

Private sauna bookings are for a maximum of 8 individuals on entry to the sauna site. Any extra individuals attending the booking will be charged £20pp on arrival.

If you are making this booking on behalf of a group, it is your responsibility to make all users aware of the terms and conditions and to practice safe sauna use.

Alcohol, nudity & smoking are not permitted in the sauna or on the site.

Jewellery should be removed before entering the sauna to prevent burning.

Sauna Next The Sea operators reserve the right to refuse admission to intoxicated persons or for other reasons that may be deemed a health and safety risk.

Refunds will not be offered to anyone refused admission.

SAUNA NEXT THE SEA CANCELLATION POLICY​
Communal Sauna Session or Private Sauna Session
In the event of cancellation we will only refund or reschedule any sauna session up to 48 hours prior to your booking. Please email sauna.next.the.sea@outlook.com with the name of the person who made the booking and any booking reference.
Bookings canceled on the day will not be refunded.​

Please note: in the event a cancellation is requested by a customer and not the fault of the business, refunds will be minus any transaction fees incurred
