As the stove crackles, you can gaze out toward the marshes where seals (if your lucky) bob in the channel and flocks of birds wheel overhead - regular visitors who seem just as at home as we are.

When the heat has worked its magic, step outside for a bracing cold sea-dip or take the plunge into our cold water boat shower - an old wooden vessel cleverly repurposed to deliver an invigorating burst of ice cold chill.
